Stock heads/LTs/X/3000Stall/3.23... CAM?!?!?
I have a 2000 WS6 with Pacesetter LTs / TSP X / Dumps / Stock intake,TB,MAF/ TCI 3000 / NX 150 / Drag Radials.
I am looking for a cam...I will probably never touch the heads and wont restall until I put a TH400 in the car.
I am looking for a good cam, that will kick *** on the track. It HAS to sounds uper agressive, but it also has to run good...I don't wanna soin the motor too high, so kinda keep that in mind.
So far the TR Trak (231/234 .640/.590 112 LSA) looks pretty appealing, as well as the regular crew (MS3, F13) but those sound like I am gonna have to spin the motor to high.
Does anyone have any advice??
Thanks!!

how about a TR220 or 224 cut on a 110lsa?it won't peak too high, should have killer mid range and an aggressive lope.it won't give you big peak numbers but should give you plenty of power in the rpm range to match up with your gears and stall.JMO

Couple things...Would the 110 be to short for the nitrous? I have heard you want a bigger LSA when you spray...?
As for the F13 on a 114, would that be a very peaky cam that I have to spin really high?

Your stall is too small to run an MS3 or f13 unless you are spraying, they will feel like a dog down low. Plus, you do need to spin pretty high. With your setup, like 66deuce said, a 224 on a 110 would be cool. It'll sound good at idle and won't peak too high, so you won't be spinning too much.

Limiting the cam to such small cams because you aren't running ported heads is something I wish to differ with. Yes it isn't optimum for the cam in question but if someone tells you that a 224 is the max and a 232/236 wont be faster is a retart. 232/236 with heads will be much faster.
The cam will not be nearly as good if you don't have heads but you can get more power out of a bigger cam than a smaller one. Just not near what the same big cam would get with heads. Thunder has shown that some reallly big cams giove big numbers without heads.
220/224 is a silly move. Its all in the tune.
Your biggest issue is the stall and gears.
Comp 224/230 114lsa XER is an off the shelf grind that is great for your application and will be easy to tune. If you want to make the power lower install it 2 degrees advanced or get it on a 112 LSA. I got 441 to the wheels with it in my C5 and have it in my C6 too with the addition of a FAST 90, and higher compression. I am definitely near 470 rwhp in the 6 liter. Bigger cams make more power than smaller cams without heads as long as the power band is decent. 220/224 isn't as powerful as 230/236 with stock heads. I would concentrate on tighter LSA's and stop being **** about duration. If you have a great tuner then 230 on a 110 would work just as well down low with silly additional power up top. Gears and tuning........

Ok, I should be more clear I suppose...Idle is a non issue, the worse it is the better IMO.... Drivability, meh....I don't care if it feels 'soggy' around town, as long as it doesn't on the strip...ya know?
