Default What FMS cam for 3.23 gears and 3500 stall?

I am replacing my current junk MS3 and want to try and match the appropriate cam with the rest of my setup. What FMS cam would match up with 3.23 gears and 3500 stall? Also, will the FM14 has any issues with P to V clearance on stock heads and 02 GM gaskets?

Thanks,

The F14 should not have any clearance issues. I am running that cam on my ls6 which has more compression that the ls1. I have a friend running the F15 on a stock headed ls1.

Would the FM14 be a good match for the stall size and gear ratio that I have? Also, what would be the lowest LSA that I should go in an automatic?

So instead of shooting yourself in the foot with a .45 you chose to do so now with a 9mm? Come down to at least an F13. @3500 rpm, neither the MS3 nor the F14 are gonna be in their powerband.
Don't blame the MS3 cam (it does what it does). Blame the guy who mismatched the cam with the drivetrain.

Get you a 4k+ stall and that cam will wake up big time. Your gonna have to change something, the cam or the verter, your choice. But as said above, it's not the cams fault....

Its not the cams fault at all. For some reason(yet to be determined), the three cam bolts on the MS3 came loose and the cam walked(loc-tite and torqued to spec). Then it decided to shred one of my lifters. Now I just want to get it back up and running so I am purchasing some used lifters and a cam that suits my drivetrain so I can drive the car until a new motor can be purchased.

NOTE: It was my choice to put the MS3 combo together, I already had the stall and I planned on restalling it to a 4400 although I never got around to it.

I would say the F14 is a little big for that application. I would try the F13 or if you want less of a cam the F11 is nice as well. The only reason I get away with the F14 in my car with 3.42s is the M12 6 speed is geared differently from others.

i really like the f11 cam. i have a fuddle 3600 stall and 3.23 gears and thats the cam i plan on installing when i get around to changing it. should just a little more mid range power than the f13 and f14, which is what i want.
