oil additive's
 
just curious if adding oil additive to oil when changing, will it benefit doing it? if yes. what brand should I use? what are pro's/con's of these oil additive's?
currntly using mobil 1 (5w30). any info would be appreciated.

I think that most people will agree that just changing the oil is an additive, as long as it is synthetic.

Visit the Bobistheoilguy web site & you will find all the information needed. Additives are not required. However, an AutoRx treatment & flush followed by a little AutoRx mixed in future fills will keep the engine clean.

i did the auto rx treatment when i first got my car. Im not sure if it made a difference , but with 100,000+ on the clock im sure it didnt hurt. I now use German Castrol instead of the non-synthetic that came with the car.

I agree. I use the 0W30 German Castrol with K&N 2006 filter.
