Cool Aftermarket cams...What gas mileage do you get?

I'm really curious here? I know that I shouldn't be worrying about MPG if I want a Cammed LS1, but its good to know whats to be expected. I'll probably get the TR230, so could I be seening?

What cam/mods RWHP and MPG?

I get 30 mpg highway, but I average about 24 mpg between city/highway. That was a hit of about 2 mpg from when it was stock.

It doesn't really depend on the RWHP or cam. It depend more on
driving style
M6 or auto
weight of the car

hes prob runnin stock 3.42s. M6+ 3.42s= gas mileage that makes the A4's jealous gears dont affect city much, but play a major role in hwy gas mileage

I hope you get headers before you install that cam dude. They'll help a little with the gas mileage not to mention the 25 horses you'll be leaving on the table.

These threads always crack me up. You'll get about as many acurate answers as you would if you were asking how long everyone's shlong is.

BTW, mine is 14".

I get between 16-22 mpg city driving depending on how many times I floor it. Highway I got ~28 or so. Mods are full bolt-ons and a TR224, stock 3.42 gearing.
