low dyno?

i have all of the bolt ons...comp cam 232/234 .595/.598, mti stage 2 heads, fast 90/90, flp longtubes, 12 bolt, 3400stall, etc. Dynoed 412rwhp on a dynojet. does this seem low with that combo?

car also likes to die a lot, especially after something like a burnout at the track, its been tuned by mti, didnt think it was a cam i should be having a problem idling with?

seems about right. You need to consider drivetrain loss through an auto with a 12 bolt.
Sounds like it is time for a tune-up maybe.

what would i need to get the 450+hp people are usualy getting from h/c packages. ETPs or AFRs? dif cam?

black01_WS6 02-12-2006 11:45 PM

i made the numbers in my sig with the same cam. you have aq auto but you have heads and the 90/90 set up. it shouldn't want to die, thats with the tune. what does your car run? thats whats important.

black01_WS6 02-12-2006 11:45 PM

you would need a m6 or some juice.

1/8th its run about a 7.05 on a 150 shot, and i think around a 7.6, 7.7 n/a

Z28SPD 02-14-2006 04:54 PM

does anyone else have something to add?

412 is good through an auto. What it runs at the track and on the street is more important than a number in my opinion.

Z28SPD 02-15-2006 11:52 AM

so do those number sound right with my mods

prostock_bigblock 02-15-2006 12:11 PM

sounds right to me but you probably need to work more on the tune if u didnt.

Transgression 02-15-2006 04:01 PM

that 3400 stall conveter will also make a "power loss" too along with the 12 bolt and and auto.....but thats an 11sec beast u have!(traction pending of course)
