after reading all the threads about how undrivable this cam is i was scared but now i have first hand experience and i have to say this cam is awsome daily drivability is great yes it surges a little but barley at all and its not even tuned the people who say this cam isnt drivalbe have never been in a car with the t-rex i love it and recommend it for anyone who wants tp make a fast *** car

I have a friend who lets his gf drive his Rex cam'd TA. She races it around town all the time. He has the idle set at around 1100-1150, well the person who tuned it. It sounds MEAN.

I drive a Trex'd car and honestly don't see why anyone would want to use in a DD type car. I don't care how good your tune is, there are going to be quarks with huge cams. I'm giving my opinion so no need to be defensive. The Trex is a one purpose type cam and that's a race cam. It shines above most other cams from 5500 RPM and above. It makes less HP and TQ than most smaller cams below that, which is what makes it more of a Track/race cam. There are so many other smaller cams out there putting out great numbers, but is more drivable and has good bottom end torque. If your goal is racing, the Trex is awesome. If your goal is a DD with occasional track visits and want good bottom end power, find another cam IMO.
