maximum cam lift for 98's

With 1998 stock heads/valve covers/all that, is there a maximum lift you can go with on your cam without having to change your covers or heads or whatever? I was thinking there was, but just to be sure...

I want to go with a 224R 116LSA cam from TSP with a .581/.581 lift if it's possible with what I have now.

The MAX you can run in a stock head motor is the T-Rex cam. Which is MUCH larger than the one you listed.

its really duration that becomes a prob with cams not clearing, not as much lift

It is really a combination of everything...As it is what ultimately determines valve events.
