WTF I need valve cover gasket help! I know this sounds pretty dumb, but i have a brand new gasket and it's like it's too big! I put it in and always end up w/ excess that won't go in the groove. Is there a way to shrink it down? Heat it up or what???

You were right!! thanks a lot! i was stretching it as i went around when i shoulda been squeezing it in there.
