Can't Decide Which Heads

Well it's time for my dad and I to get some heads for our cars. He has an 02 SS and I have a 98 Trans Am. We both have the FM14 cam on a 112 +4, QTP 1 3/4" high velocity race headers, TSP true duals with Sweet Thunders, March underdrive pulleys, and LS6 intakes. Now comes the big decision on the heads. So far I kinda have it narrowed down to the AFR's, ET Performance 215's, or the Trick Flow 210's. I've also been looking at the RHS heads which seem to be the same as ETP. What do you guys think would be our best bet as far as heads go. There really isn't much information out there for any of these heads with the F14 cam.

To accompany these mods I'm thinking a nice set of Morel lifters, 38 lb injectors, and a set of new rockers. I like the Comp rockers but I don't think I could get the 1.75's to work with the AFR's with my cam, which is why I'm considering the ET's, Trick Flows or RHS's because they have a little more piston to valve clearance due to the valve angle.

Is there any other brands that I should be considering as far as head's and rockers go. I would really appreciate some dyno numbers/graphs and responses from people that actually have a setup like this.

I am not a shill for them, but check out the offerings from KATECH.

i'd go AFR 205's. the cam isn't big enough to warrant 225's in my opinion. i think you were leaning towards those anyways. but just to make sure.

ETP heads have amazing numbers, but they are expensive. that's just my opinion in the matter. i don't know trick flow heads though, and i've heard the same about RHS... same as ETP.

Dont rule out the new Edelbrock heads they flow right there with the AFR 205s

There are many terrific head options available. It's hard to argue with the consistent results of H/C cars with AFR 205's milled .030.

I wouldn't do anything other than a ETP head.It comes with a bulit in spacer on top of the head for rocker arm clearance and the valve springs in these heads are nice and beefy there the same size as like a bigblock spring not the skinny pieces of shit beehive springs. My vote ETP 215 for your applacion you get what you pay for.BTW if you look at the cost of the afr 205 and have them put there spring upgrade on it will be real close the the coast of a ETP 215.I have a set of 215 ETP i recived this past week with 62cc chambers and the spring upgrade good to 650 lift.I will sell them for 2400 plus shipping.

Did Edelbrock ever get the C.A.R.B certification? I would stick with AFR personally, but hey - YC
