Default Got my valve springs, retainers today....few questions

I have a cam and I got my valve springs and retainers today....I want to install the cam soon but what I am wondering is should I wait and buy pushrods and install them with the cam? Is pushrods something must do when I do the cam or is it something I could wait on...like say when I do heads?

also, any cam install guides to make the process go a little more smoothly?

thanks for any help

pushrods go on after the cam is installed. if you put the PR's in before the cam, then your dropping lifters and gonna be hating life!

they should only be like 5 bucks. you may or may not need them. depends on if they fall apart or not.

ok sweet....

would it be in my best interest to install an aftermarket pulley at the same time as the cam?

btw, i have retainers, springs, seats and the cam. Is there anything else I would look into replacing besides the gaskets when doing the install?

you might pick up a bit more power with the install, but you can do that any time. its best to do it then since its already off. dont forget the pushrods and coolant. what cam and what size PR's did you get? let the car warm for about 10 minutes, then drive it under 2500 for another 10 or so, let it sit for about 2 hours, warm them up again and then drive it a little harder. you dont wanna break them.
