Need Help!? Need a 5.3 cam for truck! Hey guys I have an 2004 Yukon with a 5.3. I installed a magnacharger last year and it works great. I get alot of power after 3000-3500. I wanted to a cam in the truck to give it more low end and also a nasty sound to it as well. What can you guys suggest to get this thing to move and sound hairy. Im asking this because I have seen a video of a new GTO with a "hot" cam installed and it sounded crazy. Of course I would give the specs to superchips who originally gave me the programmer with the charger and have them dial in the new specs for whatever cam I end up choosing. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Call one of the sponsors that grinds blower cams and tell them what you got and want to do and they'll grinds one.
The hotcam has a lot of overlap. The overlap is what produces that great sound
. A lot of overlap isn't good on a supercharged engine. Most of the boost would just be wasted out the exhaust.
