Default Who has bought off the shelf 382 parts and not balanced them?

I see some recommending balancing for this stuff. I have built a lot of engines with no balancing in the past and no problems at all ,no noticeable vibration..nothing.

I thought most aftermarket stuff would be close enough. So if you just bought stuff like eagle crank and eagle rods or whatever and threw it in lets here how it worked out and if you would spend the money on balancing the next time around.

While your engine would probably be okay, why would you take a risk spending all the money on an entire rotating assembly and then not balancing it for a small cost? That would be like running an entire marathon then walking the last block to the finish line.

You need to balance because the LS motor is internally balanced. Crutial to harmonics.
