Seems to me they all fuckd up cuz when you mill the heads for more compression none of the bigger cams fit. Stupid stupid stupid.
Aftermarket heads should raise the compression up to 11 to 1 without losing piston to valve clearance.

Good point. I've always wondered the same thing with these aftermarket castings. If someone is going to buy it, seems like they'll also use a bigger cam that will need more compression. By the same token though, most also build up the engine, flycut, or do other things to run the right combination.
Obviously, people are buying them, so I don't think convenience is a huge selling factor. Shadetree mechanics might like to cut out a few extra steps, but for those whom go to a shop, another few bucks for milling/flycutting is not a big deal.

Manufactuors try to make the parts have a broad appeal. It's already to easy to buy parts that are beyond the users level of know-how. If you can't figure out how to acheive _____________, it is probably better left to a professional who can.
