some questions about selecting heads Ok, I am going to keep this as short as possible..I want to learn more about how to go about selecting the proper type of heads and cam for a streetable, non DD 02 SS which does not see the track..
Where do i post, and where will I get the best information...any sites are welcome..
I am going to save over the summer...maybe like $3000 for heads, cam and tune...plus a 0% APR till Feb of '07 credit card if im feeling lucky hahaha

well internal engine usually has great info. Also call up MTI, TSP, and thunder ask there recommendations, ask ask ask before you buy, that way you won't have to do things twice. you might think about the future here as well, FI?, no2? if these are in your plans then the head requirements are different, for FI, you would want a lower compression ratio, so most people opt for a 6.0 liter head, while nitrous guys look towards a 5.3 liter. good luck just be sure before you spend the $$$$
