If your heads aren't milled and are unmodified on the deck side then fly-cut is not necessary. But as I always tell anyone that is planning a cam swap....you should always check yourself just to be sure and for your own peace of mind.

I think you should be fine - yes - have the guys check. I've got a 99 LS1, AFR 205cc w/ 59cc mill, .040 Cometics and the G5X2. Hardend pushrods - yes, Comp921s - yes, flycut - no

Yes - get the cam - it is a great dragracer cam. Its lumpy (mine's on a 114), but streetable. BTW - you'll want a tune - this is not a cam to just throw in.

You can look on LG's site for a couple dyno numbers. Since you still on a 98 motor id shift by 6500. You should break 400 to the wheels. Only thing I was suggest is getting the spring preasure checked, and if all comes out good be sure to shim them when installing.

personally i wouldnt buy used valve springs unless i knew for sure that they had very little mileage on them. if they werent set up properly and abused, one could break on you. i know theyre doubles and are safer than singles if one were to break, but then youd have to go trough the hassle of buying new springs and insalling them.
