Lifter prep

Getting ready to do the heads. The lifters (Morel) while not covered, have some grease on them. Whats the proper way to prep them before installing?

Thanks,

Mike

I've been looking into this myself. And I found this...

This guy is a straight shooter IMO.

So there we have it..... :chug:

im not so sure about that...maybe its a rust inhibitor? In my opinion cant go wrong with washin the oil galleys of the lifter out clean of grease, then lettin them soak in engine oil for about 30 min. cause from my expierence i never ran grease in my engines, just oil. let them sit in some oil for half an hour then slide them in.
