used cam's any good??
 

I'm thinking of saving some green and picking up a used cam, though pics may look good I'm wondering if anybody's had a bad experience w/ a used cam or anybody running a used cam w/success?....

As long as the lobes look good then yeah its not a bad thing. Roller cams usually dont wear down like a flat tappet cam.

I have had 4 cams....all used.

i bought one off here and the member said it had about 2000 miles on it....got it and took a close look at it, and it doesn't appear to have any more than that if it even has that on it.

i also just recently sold my old cam on here.

Spend the little extra and get a new one, I thought about getting a used cam at first, and reading as many posts on some members having problems with used cams, I just went with a new one. Go new. :)
