Default When did LS1 F-bodies go EGR free?

I put a LS6 manifold on my 00 LS1. I'd like to fit the proper cam used to eliminate the EGR legally and for sniffing purposes. When did the profiles change to eliminate the need of an EGR?

2001. If you do a cam swap, I'd highly recommend doing something bigger than a normal LS6 cam. Go to at least a 222->224ish duration cam to make it worth your while.

Right on the nose!!!! I'd look at Comp Cams for some really nice and streetable cams in the 222/224 range.

FYI, some 2000s didn't have EGR.
