99 Vette Mobil 1 oil filter
 

The Mobil 1 oil filter that is recomended for my 1999 Corvette by Mobil 1 is the M1-107. My question is can I use the Mobil 1 M1-206 oil filter which is about 3/4" longer? Will I have enough room for that extra 3/4" in lenght?

I'm not sure about the Vette, but in my car I always use the 6.0 filter, because it's longer, and I just use 6 qts, it reads right on the stick everytime.

I dont think that yours would be any different. Just look up the part # for a 2000 Silverado 2500, 6.0, and whatever # you get will be it.

Mine has never had a mark, or nick on the filter to indicate that it hit anything while driving. Physically, the filter will fit. Good luck.
