Default Any info on the T-RAK cam ( 415hp ? )

231/234 .640/.590 112 LSA - Havent really seen much on this cam and it looks to be pretty decent. Can anyone give me any info on this. Right now Im sitting at 382/380 with my G5x1, ls6, QTP longs, off road kooks, slp billet and I would like to be at 415ish cam only. I have a 90/90 ready to go on along with a ASP underdrive so I'm looking for the cam that can do that.

It's a great cam, and shows you don't have to have a huge cam to make big power. The member HOSS on here, has the TRak cam with 90/90. He's making 430 rwhp + 39x rwtq, stock heads.

I've heard a few people call this grind the "baby TRex". Hope you have a good tuner for it!

great cam, with the FAST 90/90, you should see at least 415 with a half *** tune. I dynoed this with a street tune, no playing on the dyno. I had 3.73 gears also, and still had my MAF restriction in place. I am looking for a lil more in the next week or to. Get the cam, you won't be dissapointed, it sounds ******* wicked too

Do it. Very good cam.
So good infact the Torquer 3 is almost the exact same specs.
(Not saying anyone copyed anyone, or trying to start any BS as I do business with both company's) Just showing that the cam is damn good.

I have the TRak cam in my C6 and it drives great. Still have the stock cat-back on the car and it put down 450rwhp(Cam Only). I do daily drive the car and can't say enough good things about it. Just make sure and get good springs and shim them as well. You will need to shift at 6800 to pull all of the power out of it. Mine peaks at 6500.

The Trex made over 450 a while back cam-only in an LS1. Mr Z51's is an LS2, which explains why he broke 450 rwhp with the milder TRak cam.

i figured the 6.0 did help with those numbers. But even in an LS1/LS6 car, i haven't seen but one... thunder racing's car, with their own cam break 450rwhp.

What does the intake lift being so large on the TRak cam benefit?

Rodney's car made 442 rwhp on an LS1 with stock heads and the TRex also. Not quite 450, but dang close enough.

More intake lift is always better. Exhaust is arguable and depends on alot of other parameters.

HOSS, do you have a dyno graph that we could see? What's your full mod list? How do you like the 3.90's? I am going with a setup that I think is very similar to yours. My Z28 goes under the knife at TSP on the 24th.
