Well since the search function isn't working.. piston slap question.
 

I tried to search for this but nothing comes up..

I have a 2001 Camaro SS, you can see my mods, basically stock. I have a knock when cold, everyone has let me know that is just an LS1 piston slap, and a lot of people have this. It doesn't affect my performance at all, i just don't run the car hard when it's cold.

Here is my question, my car has 18,000 miles when i bought it.. and the dealership gave me a 3 year / 36,000 mile warrenty, with a $100 deductable. Do I take it in and get them to fix it, or do i just drive it the way it is? (The car now has 19,000 miles)

Will this problem escalade into something more serious, or should i not worry about it.
