T-rex is optimized for use with stock heads. Not neccessarily will you want to stab the biggest hydraulic cam you can find in your car for the most power. It really doesnt work that way. If you want a retarded cam....change out your whole valvetrain and do a solid roller setup. Then you can pull your heads and flycut your pistons for a 27X/27X .7XX/.7XX 11X solid cam. Not very optimal idea though unless it is a race car and you like adjusting valves.

However, if you ask me:
Get a set of heads that are worth a ****.(Trickflow/AFR) and a custom one off grind cam to compliment it. If you are looking for those numbers you are going to want a lower duration and higher lift with a tighter LSA. You will still have some chop to it if you plan for about/around +10 degrees of overlap.

That is because you have no idea how bad *** it is till you try it.

Go AFR 205's and G5X3/4. I am working on that set-up now. A proven combo to get you to the 470-480 RWHP range. That is DIRTY on a street car with a little ole' 346!!

I use the trex and I love it. It pulls hard as hell and I have a bad *** tune which makes it a great DD car.

+1 vote for lgm X3/112 or X4/110 with afr205 @ 59cc and FAST90/NW.

Can't go wrong with a proven combo. Will react well to nitrous if you spray it later on.

Yea ECS did 500rwhp on a C5 Z06 M6, what would that package do on a F-body M6 with a 12 bolt? Any ideas?

Yeah, but theres not many people that have $2300 laying around for the afr's, would the dart 205's milled to 59cc work, and fit about the same??

My friend has Dart 205s with a F14 cam and it made great power over 450 rwhp.

i agree with the afr 205/g5x3 or g5x4/90mm FAST...that setup always produces big power. no doubt's about it.

This plus ported 90/90 will give 450+ easy.

Would you have to flycut the pistons with that setup? What about with an FM14?

You think that G5X4 on a 110 will fit that 205 AFR w/ 59cc? I don't think that he was looking at running bent valves too.
