ETP 225's

I'm thinking of switching to ETP 225's with a G5X3 114lsa, what do you guys think? By the way I'm new here. Current mods in sig.

I'm currently going through a head swap...Going from TSP stage 2.5 LS6(64cc) to ETP 215(59cc) in conjunction with a G5X3/114.

The last piece to my puzzle is the Vengeance ported Fast that is in transit, and then a dyno tune this coming Friday....

I'll post the results as soon as I get them.

i went from absolute speed stg 2 heads to tsp 2.5 heads and lost some power..switched to etp 215 heads and picked up 40hp over the other heads....this is with the etp at 59cc as well, the cam i have is a .611/.619 242/250 on a lsa of 114
with an a4... so i would say its a good choice to switch to etp....

I love the ET 240's that are on my 402.. pushed my 3580 lb car to 10.80 with the tires spinning, and the rims spinning on the beads..... I'm happy with the results.

Awesome! The guy I talked to at ETP suggested the 225's with a 58cc chamber. BAM-BAM did you have to fly cut?

bad2000z Nov 11, 2006 08:15 PM

Anybody else use ETP 225's?

BAM-BAM Nov 11, 2006 10:55 PM

no fly cutting but this is a 383 motor and i have -7cc dish....pistons

wavrdr Nov 12, 2006 12:19 PM

ETP 215 at 59cc with a .040 Cometic and G5X3/114 had more than .100 clearance intake, and even more on the exhaust....

Just my .02

Looking forward to your results as I have a similar set-up except my cam is smaller and Fast is unported. No dyno numbers either.

wavrdr Nov 12, 2006 02:02 PM

Provided the intake shows up this coming week, I have a dyno tune session scheduled for Friday....

I will post results here and Corvette Forum...

Take care!

If your N/A only with stock cubes i would say stay with the 215 .If you plain on spraying the 225 will shine on over the 215.

Damn bro 9.1's@152mph :eek2: . That's crazy.

I think the whole debate about port size is overrated. The ET 225s would be perfect.

BAM-BAM Nov 12, 2006 11:30 PM

i dynoed 485/ 447 373 gears 4000 tci stall 10bolt on a dyno jet

bad2000z Nov 13, 2006 08:20 AM

Thanks for all the info guy's! Hopefully I can save the $$ for the ETP's before spring, I really wanna go 10's next year.

Steve Burger Nov 13, 2006 10:06 AM

I have ETP 225s on a 347. It runs well for what it is now.
