ATTN Bolt-On and Cammed A4's- Help me out I have been Raughammer's site and read various threads and am coming to a decision as to what cam I want to put in. Im going mild, nothing past a "burble" in terms of lobe so we are talkin 112-114 lsa. I have an a4, but the the st3500 going in, the TB drilling and high idle wont be a problem Im thinking of the MT1 T1 cam. What do you guys think. Also i will be having my FLP's on there. Pretty potent combo together arent they! Thanks for any input/views. Sean |
Re: ATTN Bolt-On and Cammed A4's- Help me out i'd get the B1 for an automatic just for idle purposes.... |
Re: ATTN Bolt-On and Cammed A4's- Help me out Sounds like a job for "Trooper Cam!" |
Re: ATTN Bolt-On and Cammed A4's- Help me out As long as you raise your idle you'll be fine. You may need programming to squeeze all the power out. |
Re: ATTN Bolt-On and Cammed A4's- Help me out I have a T1 cam. My best time as a bolt-on car was 12.43 @ 108.XX MPH. My best time now with the T1 is a 12.11 @ 111.XX MPH so I have gained a tad over 3 tenths and 3 MPH with just the cam. The weather was nearly indentical on both runs and the raceweight was within 30 pounds. I don't even have headers, if I did, I would likely have gained even more with the cam! |
Re: ATTN Bolt-On and Cammed A4's- Help me out what valve springs are you useing kenny?? |
Re: ATTN Bolt-On and Cammed A4's- Help me out 941s. I do not hop right into the car and beat on it though. I always drive it for a little while before I romp on it.... |
Re: ATTN Bolt-On and Cammed A4's- Help me out I have the T1 in an auto too, 941 springs as well. Gonna do new springs soon....918s for me I like the cam, I would do the TR-224 on a 114 if I did it again...which I plan on |
