Default New aluminum intake from "Lingenfelter/Weiand"

I saw a new intake at the PRI show. It had Lingenfelter and weiands name stamped on the top. It is a nice piece. I am wondering if this is the one that Holley is working on.

I talked to the Weiand rep at the PRI show. He said that the specs to those 2 intakes (1 was polished, 1 wasn't) are similar to the LS6 intake, but that since they're aluminum, they can be ported or port-matched to the heads to flow more.

Unfortunately, he WAS NOT aware that the '01-'02 LS1 F-bods do not have an EGR fitting in the intake. The Weiand pieces both had a big hole for the EGR fitting. He took some notes while we were talking & indicated that they will probably just fab up a block-off plate. Kind of makes me wonder though... I shouldn't have to tell them something like that! <img src="images/icons/shocked.gif" border="0">

He was just a sales rep, I'm sure. I doubt this would be news to the engineering staff.
