I'm back to stock heads/cam

As some as you guys know, I have put a stock motor back in my car. The solid roller motor is now in Paul@Thunder's car and is doing quite well. If I would have kept my car like it was, I would have to put a cage in my daily driver in order to race around here and I really didn't want to do that. Most will allow you up to 11.49 or so, but low low 11s is not allowed. Maybe in a year or two when I get out of college and can afford another ride I'll throw in a cage. When that a happens, bigger and better things to come.

So, I back to having bolt ons. Paul's stock internal motor will be going in Wednesday and I can't wait to see how it feels. I know it is going to be slow, but at least I'll have traction in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. LOL I'm still keeping all my bolt ons. So, my mod list is going to look like this:

- Stock heads/cam
- Whisper lid/stock maf
- Thunder Racing ported TB
- FTRA kit
- LS6 intake
- Grotyohann headers w/ 3" ORP
- Hooker catback
- Front/Rear HALs w/ front drag springs
- Suspension Techniques rear sway bar
- Moser 12-bolt w/ 4:30s
- 26x10x15 ET Drags/skinnies on pro-stars
- Thunder Racing custom tuning

I think revlimiter clutch dumps on ET Drags is going to be quite fun. I should have some track times coming this weekend. In a few months, a Thunder 224 cam will be going in...

Hope it works out for you . Here they will usually kick you out for 11.99 or quicker if you dont have a cage . How do you like the 4.30's I was thinking of going to that same gear ratio

You may miss the power, but I think you're going to set a new bar for a stock-internal LS1 M6! 4.30's, ET Drags, and a 12-bolt is going to make for a DEADLY combination! I'm really anxious to see how well the car does 60'. Hopefully I'll get to see it in person.
