Quad Turbo makes 2100+ Horsepower!!!! Any one see this in the FEB 2002 issue of popular hot rodding??? This quad turbo monster made 2100+ HP and over 1000 ft/lbs of torque with 25lbs of boost. Re: Quad Turbo makes 2100+ Horsepower!!!! That this is a mean-looking monster-power beast. However, I also saw in the same issue that they lost a cylinder/valve when they tried to run it at an event.
While that thing looks unbelievably impressive (put on a turbine, and you could probably make it into a jet engine <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0"> <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0"> ), that kind of power probably means that it could never be used at anything except the dragstrip. In other words, one run, one rebuild, one run, one rebuild . . . Might as well have a blown nitro motor.

Re: Quad Turbo makes 2100+ Horsepower!!!! well to those that do not believe that longevity, bob reiger, king of the NMCA turbo cars (and trucks) went over 75 passes without lifting the heads of the car. just pulled the valvecovers and replaced springs every so often. it is one of the lowest maintance motors out there on the pro-street circut. so how about that! crazy!
