Default fly cutting question

im gonna be picking up a MS4 here soon and im pretty sure im gonna fly cut the pistons incase i decide to go with some heads other than they ones that are "ok" to run with the MS4. i read in a different thread that you need to pull the engine and balance everything. is this true? does the engine even have to come out? thanks

no engine doesnt have to come out, but i would make it a little easier. the rear cyl.s will require an angle drill to get done in the car. I chose to lower the eng/trans/kmember since im doin heads/cam/and flycutting. makes all that alot easier to get to with the whole car out of the way.

as for the balance, shouldnt amount to anything cause your taking pretty close to exactly the same amount of weight from each piston as long as you do it right.
