dynatechs vs. FLP's.......

now i've read in some places that these two are the same header. just that the dynatechs dont' have any emmission equipment nor any y-pipes. but, the header themselves is the smae right? like they would be in the same position when mounted on the car? the collectors would end at the same spot? thanks for anyhelp.

Re: dynatechs vs. FLP's.......

They are completely different headers, but Dynatech helps manufacture the FLP headers for them, probably using the same jig fixture.

The Dynatech headers are RACE ONLY and are not designed for street cars. No emissions equipment, and the collectors slip on and are bolted down (not welded, they WILL leak). The Dynatech headers also do not come with a Y-pipe, since they are intended to be run wide open with no exhaust.

And no, their collectors will not end up in the same place. They Dynatech has longer, different shaped collectors. The FLP headers are designed to mate up with their Y-pipe.
