Damnit! Its the "Nine Ball LS1 Intake Mod"!

It is 3x3 by the way, it stretches (barely) to fit the TBody.

I just received my SLP bellows replacement, and I like it MUCH better. Its reinforced tubing and has a smooth joint in it to allow it to flex when the motor moves side to side.

Just curious. There's the Fernco plumbing hose, the SLP hose, and the hose sold by Baker Precision that comes in colors. Are any of these actually proven to increase performance???

I put the Fernco on mine. Lowes was full of them and I don't even think I paid $10. It makes putting the lid on a little tight, but with wigglin' and jigglin' all goes well. The air goes in straighter which is better but I have not seen any 'gains' anywhere. It also looks better!

I got rid of the Fernco over a year ago, it was not allowing enough flex from the motor moving and I was getting stress cracks on my airbox tabs because of this. The SLP part is fiber reinforced hose, similar to high pressure hose, and fits/looks great. It also allows complete flex and the airbox is still easy to install/remove.

As for dyno results, I never saw anything with my Fernco vs stock, but not everything shows up on a dynojet. It couldn't hurt, that is for sure.
