Finally got the car ATAP'd

well I actually got the car on an ATAP today here is what I found:

Codes
p0300 missfire code
p0135 o2 heater circuit malfunction b1 s1
p0418 secondary air injection system relay A circuit malfunction

Pending Codes
p0135 o2 heater circuit malfunction b1 s1

ATAP Data
between 5k and 5600 I am getting anywhere from .08 to 3.9 degrees of KR and getting random misfires on different cylinders. (after 5600 everything goes back to normal)

o2's are staying between .935 and .940

the most timing I could get was 24.5 degrees (with no KR) with KR it would go down to 17~19 degress.

A/F was staying at 11.0~11.1

All of the problems came up when I had the pulley and plugs put on the car, I watched them put the pulley on and it ended up going flush with the crank seal but if they didnt torque it down enough could it cause any of these problems?

Can anyone help me out with this new data I have?

Well before going anywhere else is you have to find out why left precat O2's resister (b1s1)is not working.
Maybe a wire got pinched, I'd check out the cable, is there a fuse blown, or is that 02 gone bad.

If you had no multi misfire (P0300) before then I would first make sure all plug wires are fully seated on plugs and coils.
If not then they may have used the wrong plugs or gap.

During WOT, O2 should report close to .890 mVolts, higher number means rich, lower would be lean.

I do not know if your an A4 or MN6 trannie, if a MN6 and pre '02 MY I would think at WOT you could get 28 degrees.

Mine is a stroker 6.1 liter and even with 11.3:1 compression I get 28 degrees at WOT best case and part throttle max 41 degrees. About 18 at idle.

my car is an 01 M6 car. I ATAP'd it because I have had this missfire problem for the past month and a half. I have had 3 sets of plugs in the car since the problem first came up and tried different gaps with all sets of plugs.

Using your scanner,

What state are the functions being reported in the I/M ?

Load the multi misfire parameters, it includes for each piston a current and history counters.
Also have it monitor misfire primary and misfire secondary counters.

Do a recording with all those, then take trace into excel and see which pistons were misfiring.

For multi misfire, the primary counter shows whch piston misfired first and secondary counter shows 2nd piston that misfired.

Look at history and current misfire counters and see which pistons misfire the most.

I was borrowing another guys ATAP so I cant make any more runs right now

I know the Corvette firing order is

18726543

Thus 3,1,8 are direct with the firing order.
So its not random misfire.

Have you checked the springs or valves on those 3 ?

Move the 3 coils to other pistons and see if misfire moves.

why would the car only have this problem when in open loop mode? when the car is not all the way warmed up and in closed loop the car doesnt have any problems and it runs perfect.

Maybe beause it the resister of left upstream o2 is not working then that one is not heating up while others are ?
