I've narrowed it down to two...help me pick.

My car is a A4, and I WILL be getting the PCM tuned, so help me decide which would better for me. My only current mods are: Air lid, FRA, Mac headers w/ cats, and borla cat-back.

Im debating over these cams
comp cams 216/220 .525/.532 114 LSA
comp cams 216/222 .537/.537 114 LSA

I knows theres not a huge difference, but which would better? I don't plan on using 1.8 rocker arms, and the 2nd one says it can be used with those, so do I have too? And whats the power band of these, Im an A4, so Im not going to be cruising around in the upper rpm all the time. And will the 216/222 put much strain on the springs?

oh yeah, even if I get the PCM worked...will I have idle problems with any of these?

thanks

I'd go with the 2nd one, the ramps are better.

The 216/220 cam is a very popular cam.

I would have it ground on the faster comp ramps with .561/.564 lift (lobe ID# 3711/3713) and use the comp 918 springs and titanium retainers.

I notice that you don't have a high stall converter. A 2800 - 3500 stall converter would be a good match to the cam and really improve your car's performance.

I would raise the idle to 700 - 800 rpm depending upon how lope you want. only thing is that 800 rpm with the stock converter may make the car want to pull when stopped at a traffic light.
