F13 with 918's Think I should shim the 918's a touch to run with the F13? The springs are brand new. The F13 has .595/.585 lift. The limiter will probably be set at 6700-6800. |
I wouldn't hesitate to do it, the 918's are rated to .600 on some sites I have seen to .625. Call futral and ask if you need more reassurance. |
i ran 918s for about 9k with my cam that has .595/.598 cam.. you just need to be really easy on them until their warm. i actually had 2 cracked springs, so from now on ill spend the extra cash and run patriot golds. |

You can run 918's all day on those lifts. However I recommend titanium retainers along. Also, ALWAYS let the car warm up with aftermarket springs regardless single or dual. The material they are made of is simply brittle before they are heated. |
Dustin, my cam has the same lift, and its been fine for a year and a half, untuned, so you should be fine. |
918's are a very strong spring, I had a custom LT1 cam which was .605/.605 Never an issue. |
918s here with F13. |
Thanks for the help guys. |
Should shims be installed with Patriot Golds? |

I went with the patriots to be on the safe side. |
I ran the same cam with 918's for 15k miles, no issues. I shifted around 6400 (cam only) |
