TR5's same as TR55's ???
 

I went to my local NAPA yesterday and had them order some NGK TR 55 plugs for me cause they didn't have any in stock. Well, went to pick them up today and the box says TR5 Stock No. 2238. They thread into my head, but was just wondering if they were the same or if I should get the 55's like I wanted. Thanks.

They are different. Tr5's are for TbI's like 87-94 305/350.
The stock # you need is 3951.

Thanks, I figured there was something different. What else would these work o.k. in? I just hate taking stuff back. Will they work in like a normal 'ol run of the mill 350? If so I'll just keep them and buy new TR55's. Thanks again.

I thought I saw someone post that the TR5s are the same plug jsut a different gap out of the box, don't quote me on this :judge:

I think it has a shorter thread shaft. I havnt looked at tr5 in a year. I know they fit a 350 though.
