Those who have lowered their tunnel brace for bigger Y-pipes...
What size bolt is needed? My new Y-pipe was banging against this brace so I just removed it for now, but I’d like to use spacers and re-install it. Problem is, I need to drop it down farther than the factory bolts will allow. So what size bolt are you guys using? Thanks

I forgot the size, but all I did was take one of the stock bolts to the auto parts store and find the same size/thread bolt and just buy one an inch longer. I used some nuts/washers to space it out. Since then, I've just chunked it in the garbage

I have a Metco DS loop there instead, and would shim it down with washers. I brought the bolt to a hardware store like Tony.
