well see i was looking to run the biggest cam i could and it still be streetable

drive it as much as i can and its a M6 with 4.10 in stock 10 bolt, will be changing to fast 90mm intake and nick williams 90mm tb when cam is changed. i want it to be as fast and have as much power as i can get out of it with just stuff like heads, cam, timing chain, new oil pump etc. i dont really wanna go into the internals

i dont necessarily drive it every day just as much as i can whether its to the store or just over to someones house

so whats some good cams to give alot of power? i know they keep coming up with new ones but whats some well known dyno proven cams?

i was looking at the LG Cams they say that they have seen them produce 70 horses isnt that a little high number?

so what about the LG cams??????????????????

what do yall think of the G5X3?

what size cam would be overkill you think for a car thats driven alot im just trying to get some ideas of how buig i can go or cant go.

what do yall think of the MS3?

what about the ThunderRacing cams like the 224/112lsa?

this might help what about a good streetable cam that would do good in the 1/4 mile cause i run it at the track every now and then and i only run 1/4... any suggestions?
I'd say you'll get a better idea what cam to get by deciding if you want streetable power, a dyno number, or a track ET. A cam that turns a great peak HP number on 346ci is probably not going to be the friendliest driver. The setup for the best ET will require more gear and drivability compromise on the street.

Since your car is a manual, you can get away with a little more cam. A4's don't take well to over 6000 rpm without spending some money on them. You probably want more than a 224 cam will offer. On the other hand, you already have one strip oriented LS1 car, so overcamming will likely take some of the enjoyment out of your weekend ride. What to do? Pick something in the middle:

G5x3 ~ 234/242 .600/.610 112+4
G5x4 ~ bigger still...
MS3 ~ 237/242 .603/.609 112+2?
MS4 ~ 239/242 .649/.609 111+2?

I think this is about the best piece of advice you've gotten so far

On comp XE-R lobes, that works out to a 230/234 .592/.598 110. With your stock heads, you could advance this cam 4 degrees to get your Dynamic Compression up. When the time comes to put heads on, get them milled to the proper spec and run this cam straight up.
