How much did it cost ya to have the Y-pipe done?

They must have been on crack, My install was cake. Ill bet they didnt take off the oil diverter plate. i tried doing stuff my way for a while (I was the first that i know of to install so I wanted to see if what the directions said was neccesary really was) but once i follwed the instructions it literaly "fell" into place with a little wiggle on the D Side.

Re: more hooker header and y pipe pics for y'all

mgreen, i didn't do the install. i had a muffler shop do it because they were also fabricating the y pipe and i didn't want to drive with open headers to their shop.

they said it was very difficult. removed steering shaft, fuel line, had to unhook motor mount and lift motor a little all for the driver headers.

but i've read on these bulletin boards that the header install wasn't that bad. i guess it all depends how good you are with the LS1.
