Anyone using LPE's GT11 cam?

I searched and no one seems to be running one. Specs are 215/231 .631/.644 118.0 CL. I am looking for a nice sleeper cam that makes good power but can't be heard through my true duals.

i ran the gt2-3 for 2 years and liked it. you couldn't tell i even did anything. i picked up 30 rwhp on manifolds and another 15 rwhp after adding lt's.

you should be able to pick up a little more since that is a slightly larger cam. the gt2-3 is a 207/220 .571/.578 118.5

I was thinking about the GT2-3 but Lingenfelter said 25-30 hp gain. So you picked up a total of 45 rwhp? Nice! What springs were you using?

After doing a little math it looks like the GT2-3 has -23.5 overlap and the GT11 only has -13. So I would be better off going with the GT2-3 as it is more of a sleeper cam correct?

I am running the GT2-3 cam with my Procharger now. Before I was running a 224/224 cam. Just with a swap of cams I gained 40rwhp and 50rwtq. I would say its a nice cam. It may be a little different than FI but the cam does perform nicely.

i ran manley singles with mine. i recommend going with 918's instead.

i don't think either would be a bad choice. i don't have a lot of advanced knowledge about cams so i can't really answer your question.

here are a couple of my dyno sheets:

Thanks for the graphs. Looks like it makes very good power considering the size.

I have this cam in my 07 C6 with Dart 225, Patroit golds, kooks 1 3/4 long tubes, CAI, Borla catback and next will be fast intake. I have not dynoed the car or tuned it yet or had it to the track. I will say I first installed it with stock corvette exhaust with the factory manifolds, very stealthy but does have some valvetrain noise with the exhaust this quiet. After the header install and catback it sounds like a 06 Z06 at idle with the butterfly opened, not quiet as stealthy. I also had this cam in a 402 and it flywheel dynoed 500 hp and 515 ft. lbs. Changed to a 238/240 .605/.609 112 and made 555/530 ft lbs. in my 402 at the flywheel. The gt2-3 is also a good cam we had this in a big bore 382 (4.100x3.62) and made 500/500 at the flywheel. The Lingenfelter cams are more street friendly cams and do not make the big peaky numbers like other cams.

Yeah I am looking for a sleeper cam that makes good power with my setup but sounds stock.

Check Thunder CheaTR cam also a 215/230 (LSK/XE-R), very good stealth cam, another is MTI Stealth II 224/220 .581/.581 116 LSA.
THE LPE GT11 is a good cam, but needs New High lift lifters.

Mind you all these high lsa cams will make power mostly after 4000rpm due to the powerband and late IVC.

Yeah I looked at the CheaTR cam as well as the MTIs. Those are around -10 to -13 on the overlap correct? I want the cam that is going to make good power but still be as quiet as the stock cam with my LTs & duals. I have a 4400 stall and 3.73 gears, as well as all of the boltons. Not really looking for a cam that I need to have a stout valvetrain that is going to be giving off the "sewing machine" noise. I am all about the stealth factor for some prearranged racing :secret2: :D
