What's your oil pressure with A/C on?

I noticed mine drops to around 40psi earlier today temp gauge was at 210 and I turned A/C on and it droped to about 30 for a sec. I run mobil one and I'm about due for an oil change, is this normal? I don't run the A/C much.

btw PSI is at idle.

Re: What's your oil pressure with A/C on?

The slight drop for a sec was due to the instantaneous strain placed on the motor by the a/c drive belt. The PCM will compensate for this and increase the idle speed bringing the oil pressure back up. Nothing to worry about.
