Does the Stock pistons have ANY coatings on them? Stock 2000 pistons in my case. Its time to get them clean so I need to know if I have to worry about removing a coating if its there <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Re: Does the Stock pistons have ANY coatings on them? Late 2001 and 2002 LS1 and LS6 had coated skirts for piston slap issues. Dont glass bead any ringland areas or you will ruin ring seal. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
