question about trex with stock rockers and stock pushrods.

question about trex with stock rockers and stock pushrods. i've heard from couple people that if you dont want to get aftermarket longer pushrods and with stock rockers you can mill the rocker bar and it will do that same thing as getting longer push rods.. has anyone tried it? and whats the math you do to figure out how much to mill the rocker bar? thats on a ls1 of course with a aftermarket cam .
