Default noise at high RPM

I dont know if this is the wrong forum, if it isnt sorry. so my problem is that at high RPM's (5k+) my car makes a sound like it is breaking inside. it reminds me of when my old turbo car would detonate at the topend of the RPM band. I am very new the LS1, but i know that this isnt right. please let me know what you guys think it might be. Thanks

Use 93, if they got it there...ya, hot days, pop in the octane booster...and get a programmer that lets you leave the fans on constantly.

i tuned my car myself and i went a little conservative on timing and fuel and i still get it from time to time..No matter how good you tune a car it will still have detonation sometimes when you put the screws to it.If my tune wasnt as conservative it would detonate more often.its rare enough where i dont have to worry about it.
