guy's with the all bore 382
 
i want to do an all bore 382. resleeve an ls1 block for it. now, i talked to a friend and he indicated that they are having problems with water getting in the oil.(ARE or MTI will be doing the work) you guys have a problem with this? this is my daily driver and weekend track car

My motor initially lost a little coolant, but stopped shortly after break-in. I never really figured out what the issue was, but I think it just needed a few really good heat cycles for everything to seal up.

I think there are still some issues with resleeved blocks from time to time, but the 4.100" bore stuff has pretty much been perfected by the big shops out there.

I have zero coolant consumption issues with my car now, and am really glad that I went the resleeved block route with this ARE 382.
