Hmmm, maybe a 422ci cam spec then?

I have seen 42x motors with 229/229//563/563//114 to 236/239//591/599//112 hydraulic cams.

Okay, the S1 is the biggest so that's probably the better drag race cam for drag car setup.

John, did you post up some dyno's a little while back?
Just wondering what rpm your peaks are and the peak power numbers.

if you had the chance to choose your cam again would you still go with the S1?

Hey guys I went back and edited my post, it's 'R1' not 'R2.'

I had a 244/244/114 also in my iron block.

The S1/ Comp cam is one lumpy cam.

ARE does not like my AF so I am going to dyno again, but I did 450rwhp, and 531tq with unlocked converter. I make 450rwhp by 4500 rpms...

Shop peeps favor more split cams for NOS, I'd ask them but the R1 sounds like it would idle better.

My S1 will not idle below 1000 rpms and it sounds old school.

There quite a few...

MMS 229/112 or 114
MTI R1 232/237/114
MTI S1 242/242//112/108 ic

I have the S1 which is a Comp cam. I have an ARE iron block 422ci setup.
