Default 6.125 VS. 6.098 Rod length

What is the main advantage of going with a 6.125 length. I notice most aftermarkets are that size instead of the stock 6.098. Just curious as to not just stay with stock length. Talking about a 346/347 motor

The parts are more common for the 6.125 with a .927 wrist pin. Mechanically in a 347 I don't think you will find a differance.
