ls1 engine quiz......

What are the two round black things on the top of the block that have wires coming out of them?

This is really not a quiz...I am just too stupid to figure out what they are..

Maybe not a good enough description. They were covered by the intake and located between the pistons.

Actually, and I may be setting myself up here, the two BLACK things are valley cover plugs that cover up the knock sensors. I believe the knock sensors are the things underneath that the wires are going into.

Again, I'm not trying to be anal, just precise <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
