Default HELP! Car is screwing up and I dont know why:

Hey Guys,

I was driving the other night and the car started acting funny. I had gone WOT for 3 seconds just for fun and the car started delaying almost as if the traction control was kicking on (even though it was disabled)

A few miles down the road and I started to notice some funny bogging (felt like the transmission wouldnt lock up and unlock correctly). It almost felt like the car was flooding itself or something.

I stopped at a stoplight and the car cut off, and from that point forward I had to keep the car reved up or it would die. I was in the city and every stopsign the car would die so i had to quickly pop it in N and keep the RPMS above 2,000. I got the thing home and now I dont know what the hell to do with it.

Any chance that this is the transmission causing the problem or is it the MAF or something? I hooked up the predator and it was throwing some MAF codes. Should I just get a new one or should I take it to someone.

Thanks guys!

Did you check out the MAF.. screen plugged or the ports plugged ?.. are there any plugs or wires loose ? gaskets, leaks ??

Check out what you can and keep us informed.

I checked the MAF and nothing is clogging it... The plugs all seem fine too but I dont know what else to check... Does this sound like a MAF problem? Maybe I should buy a granatelli MAF or something...

I'd go with a stock replacement. No sense in buying anything else... if it is the MAF.

the OE is $200 bucks from the stealership. Should I just get that or should I buy an aftermarket one for around the same price?
