Default Calling all Cam experts!! Can someone help me ID these cams???

i just got 2 cams from a friend but he forgot to tell them apart, both cams are gm cams and both measured 525 on the lobes according to the micrometer, Now the first one has the numbers:
1721
S 17
1248
just like that on the end with like a square that looks like "checkered inside the square", or like a "crossword puzzle" like.which GM cams have right?

The second has no marks on the sides but has like a "blue marks" between the lobes and also in between the lobes are some very small numbers engraved in there. I believe they read:
10:516
@8002
just like that.

All help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

The most lift on a stock ls1 cam, was from 98-00, and that was around .490.

01-02 was like .460-.470.

.525 could be a hotcam

I know that they are GM cams can anyone tell me if one of these is the hotcam?
can you compare the numbers on your hotcam or z06 cam or even an ASA cam?

I highly doubt that.

The Lift Given on ls1 cams is asuming a 1.7 rocker ratio if you had .525 tappet lift it would be a .892 lift cam.

Check the End of the cam o see if anything has been scribed in.

If Not have it cam doctored to find out.
