Well with a H/C package I need MAXIMUM reliability. Thinking of MTI Stage II and a C1 cam. The package I'm considering from MTI has daul springs and titanium retainers. I'm going to get a good timing chain. Is there anything else that I can add to ensure MAXIMUM reliability?

Push Rods, Ported oil pump, and good tuning. Oh and a knowledgeable installer.

just make sure to buy a new gasket/headbolt kit. Dont want to reuse any of the old stuff....

and like said, make sure its installed by a pro..

Proper installation and tuning are the main requirements to get a reliable package. Sounds like you have all of the parts required on your list. Hope this helps,

Me and a friend (GM technician) are going to do the install. I'm getting new timing chain, gaskets, lifters, pushrods, and anything else you guys can make sure i didn't forget. MTI will be doing the tunning. I think i'll have a reliable setup.
