How much rwhp can stock 99 ls1 engine handle Hi, I'm thinking about putting a supercharger in my 99 ls1. I was wondering how much rwhp can the 99 ls1 engine with all stock internals safely handle?

It's not the horsepower so much as it is the RPM's and the increased pressure and chance of detonation with the stock hypereutectic pistons and weak rod bolts. I'd definitely swap rod bolts and get some type of alky injection, and you should be ok in the 500-550 range.
